Check a Shopify product import CSV before you upload it, and fix the problems that have one clear answer. It is free. Your file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
The checking code is Python running in your page (via Pyodide), which loads from the jsDelivr public CDN when the page opens. Your CSV is read locally and is not sent to us or anyone else. Rules follow Shopify's product CSV help page (fetched Oct 24, 2026). Not affiliated with Shopify.

Fixes automatically, only when the intended value is clear: file encoding (Windows-1252 or UTF-16 to UTF-8) and byte-order mark; semicolon, tab or pipe delimiters changed to commas; blank rows; stray spaces and invisible characters; currency symbols and unambiguous thousands separators in prices; Yes/No to true/false; obvious synonyms in status, inventory policy and weight or dimension units; whole-number cleanup; blank or invalid URL handles filled from the title; variant and image rows separated from their product; tag separators and duplicate tags; spaces in image URLs. Every change is listed in a change log with the old value, the new value and the rule.
Reports but never changes: missing or duplicate columns, unknown columns, handles shared by different products, option and variant problems, ambiguous prices such as 19,99, SKUs damaged by Excel scientific notation, weights with units, invalid values, image problems, over-length SEO and title fields, garbled characters, and rows with the wrong number of cells (those rows are left untouched).
When unsure, it reports and does not change. It fixes only changes that have one clear answer; everything else is listed for you to fix by hand, so a fixed file can still fail in Shopify. We cannot guarantee Shopify will import every product. Shopify can also skip some products or variants even when it says "Products imported", so check your product count after importing. Review the fixed file and the change log before importing.
If the checker flags problems you would rather not sort out yourself, we'll fix them for you. You don't need to describe the errors, just send the file.
$12 per file. Pay securely with Stripe, then email your CSV to [email protected]. We reply with the corrected file and a change log. Keep your original file, and compare your product count before and after importing: in our tests a corrected file sometimes still failed or imported fewer products than the original. We only make changes that have one clear answer, we list anything left for you to fix by hand, and we cannot guarantee Shopify will import every product.
